Richard and I, Francesca, have owned Seafarers now known as Twelve since 1997 and have put a lot of time, effort and hard work into the property. When we first bought the house is was not in the best of conditions however, we put some thought into the project and converted it into a lovely town guest house and were awarded 4 Red Diamonds from the AA. I was also nominated for Landlady of the Year (didn’t win - pipped at the post).
We have tried to rekindle and preserve some of the original features as Victoria Park is in a conservation area. We are both well travelled as we were members of the Senior Service - The Royal Navy and served at home and abroad. We have enjoyed staying away in hotels and have tried to incorporate some of today’s modern ideas into this character building. So all in all, we aim to make your stay a pleasant one.
